ARTISTS

Lauri Schrek

Lauri Schreck is a versatile multi-instrumentalist and innovator of the kantele, who boldly combines the traditional instrument with rock and pop classics. His one-man spectacle has charmed audiences at hundreds of events around the world. In 2024, his band Lauri Schreck & Puhuri toured Finland, performing at events such as Pori Jazz and releasing the album Tapahtuu.

Familiar on stage and TV screens, Lauri has been seen in the finals of Talent Suomi, in the show Vain elämää alongside Antti Tuisku, and performing with top artists like Pepe Willberg and Mira Luoti. Memorable was also his performance of Iron Maiden for Bruce Dickinson in a live TV broadcast.

In addition to the kantele, Lauri often picks up other beloved instruments – expect captivating interpretations of both his own songs and international and Finnish hits.

Tammela 33100 boldly combines folk, pop, and rock, drawing its stories from people shaped by life. The band, originating from Tammela in Tampere, is built around the married couple Jaani and Annaleena Haapasalo and has released three albums over its more than ten-year career, as well as performed with artists such as Samuli Putro and Absoluuttinen Nollapiste.

The eagerly awaited fourth album, Tammela yöllä, will be released on August 29, 2025, through Eclipse Music, produced by Lauri Kallio (Pambikallio). The album's singles Siinä sä nyt oot and Sumusilmäinen jättiläinen (March 14) have already received radio play and a fantastic reception.

Juice Leskinen -Tribute

Juice Leskinen's music has been important and beloved to the festival's founder, Valtteri Mönkö, since his days in the music program at Hatanpää High School. Juice's music embodies boldness, community, friendship, and the first experiences of performing in a rock band. The festival's lineup includes Valtteri's good friends from the world of wind music and from Hatanpää High School from the years 2017–2020. The Juice Leskinen tribute band is a large-scale Manserock production created by the festival itself. The set includes both well-known and beloved Finnish rock tunes as well as some of Juice's lesser-known works. The band's vocalist is Pyry Joki from Valkeakoski. Pyry can't remember performing without singing Juice's songs, and together with Valtteri, they have been performing Juice's music for eight years.
